Congressman John Shadegg (R-AZ) formally introduced the Health Choice Act on May 12 this year, which would create a national marketplace for individual health insurance and allow consumers to purchase these plans across state lines by using the Internet. Such a bill would give consumers a wide array of affordable health plans to choose from, many of which would be tailored to their specific needs.
